This is the school’s first major fundraiser of the year, which is held the first Saturday morning in October. Students solicit pledges prior to event and bike/walk 100   miles. Parents/guardians and students meet at the school and bike to a farm NW of town or walk/bike to Lakewood Park. Hot cocoa is served and students can enjoy the playground before returning to the school for lunch served by staff, sponsored by Knights of Columbus. Students have the opportunity to win individual and school wide prizes. Our goal is to raise $10,000.

Carnival

This is the school’s second major fundraiser. The public is invited, and students and families are expected to participate the day of the carnival. This event is annually held in February, at the school, following a themed dinner at church. Students are required to sell 200 carnival raffle tickets at $1 each. The top three students who sell the most tickets are rewarded with scrip money or a prize designated by the carnival committee. Each student is required to bring 2 cakes, baked goods, 10 grab bags and 5 Bingo prizes, (gently used or new items.) Parents, students and staff volunteer to help with games, concessions and bake sale. Some of the fun activities are as follows: cake walk, minnow races, PLINKO, BINGO, face painting, grab bags, etc… Tickets are purchased to participate in these games. At the end, the drawing is held, with approximately 1,000 cash prizes, gift certificates, etc… Goal is to raise $30,000.

Spring Blast
