Dear Parents…

We hope you are all having a marvelous Advent season, setting you and your families’ minds and souls up for the best Christmas yet. The boys and girls are getting very excited for the programs next week starting at 1:30 pm and 6:30pm on Wednesday. We hope you can all make it! Please note that the raffle tickets for our February 5th Carnival will be distributed to the children next week for family Christmas gathering sales.

Many of you may already know, our paraprofessional and preschool aide Janelle Thompson’s husband Gordy, suffered a very serious brain aneurysm last Monday night. He was flown down to St. Paul early Tuesday morning where he and the family have been since. His situation remains critical. We ask for your prayers and to spread the word for others to do the same.

Thank you parents, from grades 1-5, for completing your grade specific surveys regarding 6th grade! They will be very useful in our final decision in determining the future of sixth grade at SHAS. We received 100% participation in this survey, giving us the most accurate possible five year projection.

Have a blessed Advent season and Fantastic Christmas and New Year.
