Accellerated Reader (AR)

Accellerated Reader provides online quizes for your child to take at school, to assess their comprehension in books they read.  Nearly all titles have quizes provided.  To be sure a test is provided and to best choose a book appropriate for your child to read, go to the link below for AR Book Finder.

Bridge to Benefits is a multi-state project by Children’s Defense Fund-Minnesota to improve the well-being of familes and individuals by linking them to public work support prgrams and tax credits.  This link will bring you to the Bridge to Benefits website where you can learn about programs to help meet various needs for your family.  Some helpful direct links are listed below.

In order to help families access the services listed above, I inform them during the following activities: conferences, orientations and on the resource board. I also have a computer and phone so they have access to apply online or call the organizations for more information.

Qualifying parents may receive daycare assistance to help pay childcare costs for attending Sacred Heart Area Preschool.
