We are looking forward to the upcoming school year, which will be Sacred Heart Area School’s centennial year.   We invite all families of Christian faith, especially our local parishioners, to consider joining our school family.  Our Preschool and Kindergarten Round-up will be held on Tuesday, April 8th in the school gymnasium.  This open house from 6:30-7:30pm is a great opportunity for families to meet their teachers and see their school for next year.

Ines Sharing Highlights of Spain with SHAS Students

The past two months, Miss Ines de la Cruz has been with us as a student teacher in Mrs. Trout’s 4th grade class. Her last day is tomorrow. Last Friday she shared with all students in the gym, some of the highlights of her homeland, Spain, with a slide show and music. The 4th graders also performed a Spanish dance for the students in which Ms. Cruz taught them. Having her here as part of our school family has been a most enriching experience, which we are so grateful for.  We will miss you Ines!!!
